Should the Military come home?
Should the military come home? With all the things that are happening in the world today. I really think that we should bring our troops home to defend our country instead of being a country that cant help themselves. Me being a prior service I believe we have no business over there, I seen no type of results while being over there. After 2 tours, everything still seems the same expect for the expansion of some new fast food place i.e. McDonald’s and burger king and pizza hut. Yet most of the troops get injured or come home to nothing while there wife leaves them or they become broke and live a life of poverty to committing suicide.

yup i think its true…. i mean why keep on fighting a war that is useless… its not like iraq is gonna change… and instead of messing up soldiers lifes over there… they should come up with a program to protect our own country by using our armed forces to protect us

I agree completely. My brother in-law has been deployed twice (three times come March/April). While deployed, a close friend of his who was over-seas with him was told by his wife she had no use for him, and was seeing someone new. She was pregnant with his kid.
We have made very little progress there, and it’s ruining the lives of many people here in America, for no reason at all. We can only hope that our new president, whoever it may be, brings about the sweeping changes that our country needs at this point in time.

Man thanks for the comment….after reading and hearing about all you have done in the military i got a lot of respect because it takes a lot to do what you have done….
